The court martial for Pvt. First Class Corey Clagett has been tentatively changed to Jan. 25 at 8:30 a.m., Fort Campbell officials announced today.

Clagett's trial date had been set for Jan. 29, with a motions hearing scheduled for Jan. 27.

Fort Campbell officials did not say why the date had been changed.

Clagett is one of four soldiers from the 3rd Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment charged in connection with the May 9 shooting deaths of three Iraqi detainees.

Clagett is charged with premeditated murder, conspiracy to commit premeditated murder and various other violations of the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

Two other soldiers in the case, Spc. William Hunsaker and Spc. Justin Graber, have pleaded guilty in the case.

Hunsaker pleaded guilty to conspiracy, attempted murder, murder and obstruction of justice. He was sentenced to 18 years in prison, reduction in rank to an E-1, forfeiture of all pay and allowances and a dishonorable discharge.

Graber pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon. He was sentenced to nine months in prison and reduction in rank to an E-1.

A fourth soldier, Staff Sgt. Raymond Girouard, is expected to go to trial March 5.
