Background “[…] Ten-year-old Iman Walid lost seven members of her family in an
attack by American marines last November. The interview with Iman was filmed exclusively
for ITV News by Ali Hamdani,our Iraqi video diarist. […] Iman tells of
screaming soldiers entering her house in the Iraqi town of Haditha spraying
bullets in every direction. Fifteen people in all were killed, including her
parents and grandparents. Her account has been corroborated by other
eyewitnesses who say it was a revenge attack after a roadside bomb killed a
marine. US authorities have launched an investigation to determine whether

aired first probably on March 30th,
2006. The picture of Iman (or Eman) Walid was featured in the Time magazine article from March 19th,
2006, who broke the news about what happened in Haditha November of 2005. The
photographer was Franco Pagetti; Other Survivors and the Dead 1) Safas Yunis was
featured in a short documentary by ABC News. Like Iman Walid, Safas lost her
parents in the massacre. Her story is featured in an article from ABC News from
May 28th, 2006. - May 2006 - ABC News; 2) Maliya Abdul Hamid
Hassan Ali, whose father and other relatives had been killed in a fatal U.S
